Worcester Park are well served for umpires and scorers for Saturdays league games, but are actively looking for suitably experienced (or simply talented - or even just enthusiastic!) umpires and scorers for the Sunday friendlies and Saturday backup...

The current line up is as follows:

• The Saturday 1st XI are provided with a Panel umpire, while the regular scorer is Alan Housdon
• Saturday 2nd XI Lead Umpire is Colin Kent, with Ian Harwood doing the scoring, and
• The Saturday 3rd XI is currently umpired by Hany Mustapha, with Adrian Barrett - our club treasurer - cooking those books too. Given that Hany is also responsible for the club's commercial activities including sponsorships, he has a minimum charge of £100 per argument over a disputed wicket. General arguments are cheaper, though - starting at as little as 20p for one line of mild abuse.

Umpires and scorers are, of course, unpaid but are rewarded with being able to contribute to the club's successes, watching some top quality cricket and plenty of fresh air! And, of course, they are more than welcome to enjoy our thriving social scene!
